Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $57.00 to $72.00 per hour.

• Lead cost accounting activities by maintaining product costing models and supporting pricing and profitability analysis.
• Analyze manufacturing expenses, inventory performance, and operational results to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and cost analyses that support management decision making.
• Support month end close processes through journal entries, account reviews, and inventory related reporting.
• Partner with operational teams to evaluate performance metrics and improve financial and operational outcomes.

• Hold a bachelor degree in accounting or a related field.
• Bring six or more years of progressive accounting experience including experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting practices.
• Possess experience with standard costing variance analysis and month end close activities.
• Use Excel at an advanced level and work effectively with enterprise accounting systems.

• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate costs, profitability, and business performance.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to management and cross functional teams.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when preparing reports and analyzing financial data.
• Work effectively in a collaborative environment while supporting operational and accounting objectives.
• Bring professional certification, advanced business education, or ERP system experience considered beneficial.
