Billing & Collections Specialist

Pacific Portables is looking for a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Specialist to help keep our accounting operations running smoothly. • Enter and maintain accurate billing and accounts receivable data.
• Review billing statements, invoices, and related documents for accuracy.
• Contact customers to resolve billing issues and ensure accounts are current.
• Manage past-due accounts by arranging payment plans or coordinating resolution.
• Research, compile, and track data related to collections efforts.
• Prepare and distribute accounting reports as needed.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as mail distribution, phone calls, and other office support.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good with numbers and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bookkeeping or accounting training (preferred).

• Able to sit for long periods and work at a computer.
• Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
