Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager

About the Opportunity

A large, multi-location healthcare services organization is seeking a Financial Reporting Accounting Manager to support financial reporting, technical accounting, audit activities, and executive reporting. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to drive process improvements, strengthen reporting controls, and partner closely with finance leadership during a period of organizational growth and transformation.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
• Support consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and external reporting requirements.
• Perform variance and fluctuation analysis across balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Review account reconciliations and improve reporting processes and supporting documentation.
• Research and document technical accounting matters in accordance with GAAP.
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
• Coordinate audit requests and serve as a key contact for external auditors.
• Develop reporting templates, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Support board reporting, ad hoc analyses, and special finance projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, audit, or a combination.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience supporting external audits and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Healthcare, dental, hospital, medical group, or multi-site organization experience.
• Experience with complex revenue streams, deferred revenue, bad debt, and accounts receivable analysis.
• Experience in private equity-backed environments is a plus.
