Accounts Receivable Specialist

Pay range: $30-35 p/h
Our client, a fast-growing e-commerce company in Anaheim, CA, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented AR professional with strong marketplace experience and expertise in cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations.
Responsibilities- Accurately apply and post customer payments and cash receipts.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Perform accounts receivable reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage collections efforts and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Research and resolve payment issues, short pays, chargebacks, and deductions.
- Reconcile sales and receivable activity from e-commerce platforms.
- Post and reconcile transactions from Amazon, eBay, and Shopify accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and aging reports.
- 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
. - Experience processing and posting transactions from Amazon, eBay, and Shopify
. - Expert-level Quick Books Enterprise experience required.
- Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations, lookups, and data analysis.
- Solid understanding of cash application, invoicing, collections, and AR reconciliations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in an e-commerce, consumer products, or retail environment
. - Knowledge of chargebacks, marketplace deductions, and online payment platforms.
- Ability to identify process improvements and support accounting operations.
