Position: Accounting Clerk / Office Administrator

The Accounting Clerk / Office Administrator is a role responsible for supporting both accounting and general office administration. This position performs a mix of data entry, administrative coordination, compliance tracking, and accounting-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have data entry experience preferably in construction/service industry, good collaboration and accuracy, and strong reporting skills.

This is a full time, in-office position located in Orange, CA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES (including but limited to):
Accounting
  • Subcontractor Invoice Processing (weekly) and 1099's (annual)
  • Expense Report Processing / Petty Cash Entry
  • Subcontractor reporting
  • Credit Card weekly uploading and error checking
  • Project Level Budget and other Data Entry
Office Administration & Compliance
  • Manage mail and shipping
  • Travel Coordination (booking and modification of travel plans)
  • Fleet DMV management
  • Office vendor/purchasing processing and management (catch all / Special Projects)
  • Project Level Budget and other Data Entry
  • Sales tax filings and processing
  • HR data entry and filings
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Business Management, or related field
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work in an active, deadline-driven environment
  • Organized, self motivated, ability to multi-task, team player
  • 2-3 years progressive experience in an AP Clerk and/or Office Admin role
  • Quick Books ERP system
  • Work experience with a private equity backed company and/or construction industry
