Pay Rate: $22 - $25 per hour
Duration: Contract Role
Schedule: M-F (32 Hours a Week)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business & Administrative Coordinator to support the financial, administrative, and communication functions.
This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, managing office operations, supporting church leadership, coordinating communications, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the church office.
The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, office administration, and communications, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial activities including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, budgeting support, and financial reporting.
- Provide administrative support to church leadership, committees, and staff.
- Maintain church records, calendars, meeting materials, and official documentation.
- Create and distribute newsletters, bulletins, email communications, and social media updates.
- Coordinate daily office operations, answer inquiries, maintain office supplies, and support volunteers.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and effective communication across the congregation.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, office management, or administrative support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases, and online communication tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a collaborative environment.
