Your Role on the Team
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate faculty administrative support, including calendar management, travel, meetings, correspondence, special projects, and departmental communications.
- Administer medical education activities by coordinating student and resident rotations, processing visiting student applications, maintaining records, and serving as liaison with the Medical Education Office.
- Support the Perioperative Simulation Center by coordinating workshops, simulation sessions, scheduling, room reservations, equipment and supply preparation, inventory management, and event logistics.
- Maintain program documentation, prepare reports, respond to inquiries from faculty and learners, assist with certification renewals, and provide administrative support for departmental initiatives across multiple locations.
Required:
- Experience providing administrative or program coordination support in a complex, fast‑paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate meetings, educational activities, and special projects while interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, manage databases, and coordinate logistics.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, work independently, and travel between department locations as needed.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting faculty, graduate medical education, undergraduate medical education, or academic programs within a healthcare or higher education environment.
- Knowledge of medical education processes, including student and resident scheduling, evaluations, accreditation requirements, or visiting learner programs.
- Experience coordinating educational events, workshops, simulation programs, or continuing education activities.
- Familiarity with university, academic medical center, or healthcare administrative policies, procedures, and information systems.

Pay Rate: $30.98/hour
