The Lead Performance Solutions Designer plays a critical role in advancing this mission by designing and delivering innovative learning and performance solutions that improve effectiveness in key roles across clinical, operational, and corporate teams.
Responsibilities Performance Consulting & Business Partnership- Partner closely with operations, clinical, and business leaders to assess performance in critical roles across supported practices
- Analyze performance data, identify gaps, and uncover root causes impacting team effectiveness and patient experience
- Consult with leaders to design and recommend targeted development solutions that drive measurable performance improvement
- Ensure alignment between learning strategies and operational goals in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-impact learning solutions for enterprise-wide initiatives and priority roles
- Apply deep expertise in instructional design to create engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences
- Develop blended learning solutions, including digital learning, instructor-led programs, and on-the-job training resources
- Ensure learning content is practical, role-specific, and directly tied to clinical quality, operational excellence, and patient outcomes
- Develop performance support tools (job aids, guides, workflows) that enable employees to apply learning in real-time within practice environments
- Establish measurement strategies to evaluate effectiveness, adoption, and business impact of solutions
- Continuously refine programs based on feedback, performance data, and evolving organizational needs
- Serve as a subject matter expert in instructional design and performance improvement methodologies
- Establish and promote best practices, frameworks, and quality standards across talent development initiatives
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and partners on effective learning and performance solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, performance consulting, or talent development
- Proven success designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level learning solutions
- Experience partnering with business leaders to assess performance needs and implement solutions
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience in healthcare, dental, or patient-focused service organizations preferred
- Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations
- Familiarity with performance consulting frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, Human Performance Improvement)
- Experience with LMS platforms, authoring tools, and learning analytics
- Strong consulting and stakeholder influence skills across clinical and operational leaders
- Ability to translate business challenges into actionable development solutions
- Data-driven mindset with focus on measurable performance outcomes
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
- Passion for improving employee capability to deliver exceptional patient care
