About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to prepare accurate and timely bids that support weekly production revenue goals. This role is responsible for interpreting plans and specifications, completing take-offs, applying production rates, securing vendor quotes, and supporting the overall estimating and bidding process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit bids for review
  • Perform accurate take-offs and apply production rates
  • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and addenda
  • Secure and review subcontractor/vendor quotes
  • Conduct field visits for prime bids
  • Support value engineering and pre-construction processes
  • Review estimating input work for accuracy
  • Maintain knowledge of vendors, materials, and related trades
  • Utilize estimating software and Microsoft Office applications

What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 3+ years of commercial construction, landscaping, irrigation, or related estimating experience
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Regular walking on uneven terrain and extended periods in a vehicle
