Superintendent — Healthcare Construction (HCAI/OSHPD)

Location: Orange County, CA (Travel Required in SoCal)

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead complex healthcare construction projects throughout Southern California. • Oversee all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project completion.

• Lead healthcare construction projects while ensuring compliance with HCAI/OSHPD requirements.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project teams.

• Maintain project schedules and drive production to meet critical milestones.

• Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.

• Conduct site meetings and proactively resolve field issues.

• Work closely with Project Managers to manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, and change orders.

• Coordinate inspections and maintain project documentation.

• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.

• Mentor, train, and develop assistant superintendents, project engineers, and field staff.

• 3 years of Superintendent experience managing commercial construction projects.

• Extensive HCAI/OSHPD healthcare construction experience is required.

• Proven experience delivering hospitals, medical centers, surgery centers, or other healthcare facilities.

• Demonstrated success managing multiple subcontractors and maintaining aggressive schedules.

• Strong understanding of healthcare codes, inspections, sequencing, and regulatory requirements.

• History of mentoring and training field personnel and building high-performing teams.

• Willingness to travel throughout Southern California as project needs require.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with ground-up and complex healthcare renovations.

• Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.

• OSHA 30 certification.

• First Aid/CPR certification.
