Salary range: $81,500-$246,000. The posted UC salary scales set the 10/1/2025 minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment.

Position DescriptionThe Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking an energetic candidate for the Clinical Instructor Series in the specialty of spine surgery. This position is a fellowship and would have a 100% appointment in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. A California medical license is required for appointment as Clinical Instructor. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications. The applicant must hold an MD degree completed in Orthopaedic residency and have a desire to develop expertise in spine surgery.
The successful candidate would be expected to take part in teaching and research of spine surgery to residents, graduate students, and medical students.
