About the Position
Radiology Interventional Physician

Take your radiology expertise to the next level by joining our dynamic team as a Radiology Interventional Physician. This vital role offers the opportunity to perform a broad range of interventional procedures in a collaborative hospital setting, making a tangible impact on patient care. With flexible scheduling and a supportive environment, this position is ideal for highly skilled MDs looking to advance their careers in interventional radiology.

Required Skills

Valid California medical license

Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology

Proven experience performing angiography, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis, radio frequency ablations, biopsies, and biliary interventions

Proficiency in image-guided procedures

Strong attention to detail and patient safety

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with EMR systems such as Epic

Pediatric interventional radiology experience

Fluency in additional languages

Advanced certifications in interventional techniques

Preferred

Education and Experience

MD degree from an accredited institution

Minimum of 2+ years post-training clinical experience in interventional radiology

Prior hospital-based practice preferred but not mandatory

Other Requirements

Flexibility to work 8 to 12-hour shifts, with no call coverage

Availability to work weekdays and weekends

Ability to support a full-time schedule including supportive NPs

Travel and certification reimbursements when applicable

The hourly pay rate for this position is $525.84, with overtime at 1.5x the standard rate and holiday pay at 1.5x as well.
