Job Description Summary
Provide tutoring to PT 531 Gen Med under the Supervision of Dr. Patricia Brown.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and provide tutoring sessions; tutors may work around their own schedules but must notify tutees of their availability well in advance;
- Tutors are expected to assist tutees with study strategies and approaches to learning and test taking, not just reiterate course content.
- Tutors should work toward facilitating tutees' understanding of key concepts, relationships, and clinical application, if appropriate;
- Tutors are encouraged to work with tutees' learning styles and to assist with critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical reasoning, to the degree possible;
- Tutees must abide by the applicable university student employment policies.
