Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
MFT Graduate/Office Assistant to assist the Department of Marriage & Family Therapy
in admissions, marketing, retention and accreditation efforts.
Responsibilities
Engage with prospective students in recruiting efforts, and be available for prospective student questions.
Provide tours of the Campus including the Frances Smith Center for prospective students.
Assist with creating promotional material for the MFT Department and future events.
Assist with creating social media posts (Instagram and Linked In).
Create and maintain welcoming information for incoming students to orient them to the campus and local community.
Create and update practicum collaboration booklet, MFT's website State-by-State Licensure Comparison table, and clinic training materials.
Assist and attend in-person department events, including advanced clinical training, new student orientation, department student events, recruitment fairs, clinic orientation, and related activities.
Maintain inventory of supplies for the department. Attend monthly Student Leadership meetings.
Assist with COAMFTE accreditation efforts (as needed).
Assist with special projects as they come up.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Must be current graduate student in the Department of Marriage & Family Therapy. Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Must have experience with Adobe Acrobat.
Desired Qualifications
Desired experience creating flyers and promotional materials.
Desired experience with Canva and Photoshop.
Desired experience with creating social media posts.
