Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Chapman University is seeking applications for its Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. Potential teaching opportunities are available in the following areas or disciplines:

- Interdisciplinary Minors (Africana Studies, Asian American Studies, Creative and Cultural Industries, Disability Studies, Environmental Studies, Ethnic Studies, Health Humanities, Latinx and Latin American Studies, Law & Liberal Arts, LGBTQ Studies, Religious Studies, and Women’s & Gender Studies)
Appointments from the part‑time pool are temporary and are often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must therefore be available on very short notice. The Fall term begins mid‑August and ends late‑December; the Spring term begins mid‑January and ends mid‑May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer and Interterm Sessions may also be available.

Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences will draw from the pool as necessary when openings arise. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Applications will remain in the applicant pool until August 15, 2026. Should you remain interested in future openings, you will need to reapply.
Maximum of 6 credits can be taught per semester. The pay for the course and course‑related work for this position is $46.85 per hour. This position is contingent on final budget approval. Successful completion of a background check is required for all selected candidates.
