Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Chapman University seeks applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool for potential teaching opportunities in the following areas/disciplines:
- Art (Art, Art History, and Graphic Design)
- English (Creative Writing, Literature & Cultural Studies, Journalism, Rhetoric & Composition)
- History
- Political Science
- World Languages & Cultures (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish)
- Interdisciplinary Minors (Africana Studies, Asian American Studies, Creative and Cultural Industries, Disability Studies, Environmental Studies, Ethnic Studies, Health Humanities, Latinx and Latin American Studies, Law & Liberal Arts, LGBTQ Studies, Religious Studies, and Women’s & Gender Studies)
Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term, so applicants must be available on very short notice. The Fall term begins mid-August and ends late-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends mid-May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer and Interterm Sessions may also be available.
