We’re seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our R&D team and play a pivotal role in developing next-generation heat pump technologies. Reporting to the R&D Heat Pump Program Manager
, this role offers the opportunity to shape products that make a real impact on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Duties include:
- Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with Marketing to define product requirements and specifications.
- Design, build, test, and evaluate prototypes, releasing drawings for new and modified designs.
- Ensure compliance with standards, approvals, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation including technical specs, drawings, test reports, and bills of material.
- Support Operations to reduce production costs and improve reliability, quality, and performance.
- Assist Marketing with product manuals, installation instructions, and data sheets.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or refrigeration trade with design experience
- Product design experience is a MUST
- Skilled in 3D CAD and MS Project
- Strong project planning and management abilities
- A team player with clear communication skills
- Passionate about innovation, sustainability, and efficiency
- Ambitious and ready to grow within the organisation
- Experienced in heat pump, air conditioning, or refrigeration design would be advantageous
