Entry Level Structural Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our California team. Office location is either in Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, or Ontario, CA
.

This position is expected to start in Fall 2026.

• Builds analytic and design skills.
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
• As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

• Master's degree in a related study.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within a year.
• Coursework in structural analysis, concrete design, and steel design.
• Knowledge in Bentley Micro Station and Autodesk Suite (Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD).
