Estimator
Review project specifications, drawings, reports, and other documentation to develop accurate cost estimates.
Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed project cost analyses.
Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Develop comprehensive proposals, bids, and project pricing packages.
Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and safety personnel to ensure estimates align with project scope, schedule, and risks.
Support budgeting, cost tracking, and value engineering initiatives.
Maintain and update historical cost databases for future estimating purposes.
Assess project requirements, regulatory considerations, and operational constraints.
Participate in site visits and gather information necessary for accurate project pricing.
Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting submission deadlines.
Experience in construction, demolition, environmental services, or related estimating roles.
Strong knowledge of cost estimating, bid preparation, and cost analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, estimating software, PDF take-off tools, and related applications.
Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, technical reports, and project documents.
Knowledge of remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, hazardous materials handling, and site safety practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
Experience working on commercial, industrial, or environmental construction projects preferred.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to comply with safety and environmental regulations and protocols.
