This position is an Electrical Resident Engineer responsible for managing complex electrical/Instrumentation and Control construction projects in wastewater infrastructure. The role leads project teams, oversees project decisions, ensures compliance with contract documents, and facilitates communication between owners, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Review contractor submittals for completeness and compliance with specifications; monitor the submittal and RFI review process.
• Process or facilitate all communications between the Contractor, Owner, Project Design Engineer, and the Program Manager.
• Respond to contractor letters of correspondence, providing interpretation of contract drawings and specifications to resolve problems or conflicts on site.
• Participate in the review and evaluation of contractor claims and change‑order proposals.
• Issue all engineering or client‑initiated changes or clarifications of the contract documents to the Contractor and determine the magnitude and impact on work progression.
• Identify potential or actual problems in the contractor’s construction schedule, performance/quality of work and take actions as necessary to mitigate, correct or resolve them.
• Track job progress and document all aspects of the daily performance of work.
• Coordinate daily contractor‑requested outages, road closures, work permits or other activities impacting the plant with the Owner.
• Track progress, quality of work, materials and equipment received or installed and ensure they are incorporated into the work.
• Monitor contractor compliance with environmental requirements for storm‑water control and airborne‑emissions particulate matter during construction.
• Oversee final inspections, preparation of punch lists and final determination of work acceptance.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent in education/experience.
• A valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of related experience, including 5+ years in municipal water/wastewater construction projects.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts.

• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
• Relocation is not provided for this role.

Annual Salary Range: $190,000 – $260,000.
