Job Description
Come join our amazing team and work on-site in Orange! The Loss Mitigation Intake Processor I will be responsible for reviewing the Mortgage Assistance packages received from borrowers for all Loss Mitigation related programs including, but not limited to, loan modifications and short sales. Primary responsibilities consist of reviewing and validating documents in a timely manner to ensure compliance timelines are met in accordance with the Timely Borrower Notification process.
Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The approved pay for this position is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Review the Mortgage Assistance documents for all loss mitigation related options.
- Distribute borrower related documents in a timely manner to staff for processing.
- Ensure compliance with timely borrower notification process and CFPB.
- Responsible for achieving production and quality standards on a monthly basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- One to six months of experience processing residential mortgage loans, loss mitigation or other related field.
- Basic understanding of FHA, USDA, VA Fannie, Freddie, and Conventional loan requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
