Director, Corporate Finance

Compensation: $200,000 - $220,000 + Bonus + Equity

We are working with one of Orange County’s largest Companies as they search for a strong Corporate Finance Director to lead enterprise-level FP&A duties. This individual will be a partner to C‑Suite executives and regional leadership. Their ideal candidate must come from a large company ($1B+ Revenue) and have 5+ years of Corporate Finance experience.

• Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range planning cycles.
• Provide KPI reporting, margin analysis, and clear operational dashboards for leadership.
• Evaluate financial performance by reviewing trends, variances, and project profitability.
• Direct ownership of integrated three‑statement financial modeling, including full Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Income Statement frameworks.
• Spearhead the enterprise‑wide annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecast process, ensuring strategic alignment and financial discipline.
• Develop and deliver consolidated executive‑level financial reporting packages, dynamic dashboards, and Board‑ready presentation materials.
• Safeguard the integrity, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting across all regions and operating units.
• Deliver in‑depth variance analysis, trend evaluation, and actionable insights to inform senior leadership strategy and decision‑making. Assist with integration efforts, process improvements, and organizational scaling.
• Lead ROI analyses for capital investments, system enhancements, and new business opportunities.
• Lead and mentor a small finance and accounting team.
• Establish a culture of performance, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner effectively with project managers, operations, purchasing, and shared services teams.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent directly related work experience.
• Large Company experience is required (Annual Revenue of $1B+).
• 5+ years of Corporate Finance experience is required.
• Multi‑Location, Retail, Manufacturing, or Distribution Industry experience is preferred.
• Systems Experience such as Power BI, Anaplan, Adaptive, SAP, MS Dynamics 365, Net Suite, Sage 300, Acumatica, Oracle, Workday, MS Business Central, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics GP or Intacct all deemed good.
• Eye for details – attention to quality and accuracy is of paramount importance in this role.
