Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting activities for multiple entities using Quick Books including vendor payments project costs and personnel related transactions.
  • Process accounts payable by verifying invoices securing approvals posting entries and maintaining organized documentation.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly and prepare management reports that summarize cash activity and spending trends.
  • Maintain internal controls review financial activity research discrepancies and resolve issues through follow up and analysis.
  • Support budgeting cash flow forecasting tax documentation and respond to financial requests from internal and external partners.
Requirements:
  • Hold a bachelor degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to perform accurate month end close activities.
  • Bring experience with bank balance sheet and account reconciliations while following structured close procedures.
  • Use Quick Books confidently and support multiple entities while improving and streamlining accounting workflows.
  • Communicate clearly manage time effectively and work well in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
Qualifications:
  • Apply strong attention to detail organization and initiative while working independently as a self starter.
  • Analyze financial metrics and provide weekly or monthly insights that support sound spending decisions.
  • Coordinate with tax professionals to collect documentation track required data and support timely filings.
  • Maintain professionalism when following up on missing documentation and resolving open items.
  • Support special projects and additional assignments while ensuring accurate and reliable financial operations.
