Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, testing, and reporting of operational audits under the direction of Internal Audit management.
- Perform testing of key controls over financial reporting to meet SOX 404 requirements.
- Review work performed by team members and provide guidance to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with external auditors and third-party service providers to support audit activities.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and ensure timely communication of delays or concerns to management.
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills while handling multiple priorities.
- Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to complete assignments.
- Exercise sound judgment in executing audit procedures and communicating findings.
- Stay current on audit and accounting standards relevant to the company's operations.
- Maintain a general understanding of business activities, regulations, and associated risks.
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of audit experience in internal audit, compliance, or public accounting.
- Bring experience in operational audits and Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing.
- Communicate effectively with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems;
Concur or Great Plains is a plus.
