Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's short- and long-term goals
- Advise executive leadership and ownership on financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk management
- Oversee financial modeling for new hotel acquisitions, developments, renovations, and real estate projects
- Direct all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and closings
- Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare rolling forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team
- Collaborate with operations, development, legal, and executive leadership teams
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and financial transparency
- Ensure internal controls are effective to protect assets and minimize risk
- Oversee insurance programs, tax compliance, and audit processes
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's/MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with exposure to hospitality and real estate development
- Show strong knowledge of hotel management financial systems and development/project accounting
- Prove expertise in financial strategy, capital markets, and real estate investment analysis
- Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
