Century Group is partnering with a client in Orange County on a fantastic opportunity! A fast-paced and growing company is seeking their next Accountant for a 3+ month temporary assignment. This role will be onsite for training in Irvine and will transition to a hybrid schedule with two days onsite. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $37.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.
Reconcile balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Maintain and update financial records within Net Suite ERP software.
Analyze financial data and prepare reports using Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
Assist in ensuring compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

Requirements:

Possess recent experience with Net Suite ERP software.
Demonstrate expertise in month-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Apply strong knowledge of GAAP principles in financial reporting.
Utilize advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
A college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions.
Work independently while effectively collaborating with finance teams.
Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
