Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and fixed asset activity.
- Lead month end quarter end and year end close processes and ensure timely accurate financial statements.
- Develop maintain and enforce accounting policies internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support budgeting forecasting cash flow analysis and provide performance insights to leadership.
- Partner with cross functional teams to support strategic initiatives improve processes and enhance financial operations.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field with professional certification preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards financial reporting and close management.
- Use enterprise resource planning systems confidently along with advanced Excel skills.
- Communicate clearly manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Lead mentor and develop the accounting team by setting goals providing feedback and supporting growth.
- Monitor cash flow liquidity and working capital to support operational needs and financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with auditors advisors and external partners.
- Implement process improvements automation and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Bring experience in multi entity environments industry specific settings or system implementations considered beneficial.
