Job Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation and review of indirect tax filings including sales use and excise taxes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee tax account reconciliations accruals and support financial reporting activities related to tax liabilities.
- Manage tax registrations licenses and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Research tax issues review contracts and provide guidance on compliance actions and tax implications.
- Supervise tax staff support audits respond to notices and drive process improvements within the tax function.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in tax compliance with a focus on indirect taxes.
- Possess at least three years of financial accounting experience supporting reporting and reconciliations.
- Demonstrate prior leadership experience managing and developing team members.
- Use Excel at an intermediate to advanced level while managing multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Maintain strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance practices across jurisdictions.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
- Analyze complex tax data and recommend practical solutions to improve compliance and efficiency.
- Support month end and year end close activities while contributing to audits and reporting requests.
- Bring professional certification or exposure to international tax matters considered beneficial.
