Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation for federal and state filings
- Research tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting
- Develop tax strategies to optimize financial performance and minimize liabilities
- Prepare and review tax filings to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to support partnership accounting and tax-related matters
- 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in real estate
- Apply strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Use Excel proficiently for tax analysis and reporting; MRI software experience is highly desired
- Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and solve complex tax issues
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
- Maintain an active CPA certification as a requirement for the role
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in tax-related matters
- Show experience with tax research, filing processes, and partnership taxation
- Understand corporate tax planning and compliance strategies across multiple jurisdictions
