Job Responsibilities:
- Lead month end quarter end and annual close activities by preparing and reviewing entries reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Oversee daily accounting functions including payables accruals fixed assets and cash activity.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
- Support regulatory reporting and work with auditors by preparing documentation and resolving inquiries.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting cash management and process improvement initiatives across the finance function.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to public company environments.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
- Possess experience supporting close processes reconciliations and regulatory reporting activities.
- Use Excel effectively and communicate clearly across teams while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Support financial planning efforts through analysis reporting and preparation of management materials.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy in financial data and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and external partners including auditors.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes reporting efficiency and internal controls.
- Bring professional certification industry experience or exposure to regulated environments considered beneficial.
