Oncology – Advanced Practice Provider – Inpatient
CHOC Specialists, in conjunction with Rady Children’s Health – Orange County, is seeking a qualified advanced practice pediatric oncology provider. With demonstrated expertise in oncology, the Advanced Practice Provider will function in a support role as a clinical expert in the management of pediatric oncology patients within a family‑centered care environment.
Under the direction of the Attending Physician and practicing within developed standardized procedures and process protocols, the Advanced Practice Provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat oncology patients in an outpatient setting. Central to the role, the Advanced Practice Provider will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients in the outpatient clinic or infusion center (OPI) and function in collaboration with a multi‑disciplinary oncology team, while also providing consultation and education to patients and their families.

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
The successful candidate will be a California licensed and certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least two years of bedside experience in direct oncology care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills. At least one year of clinical Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner experience is desired, but not mandatory.
