Job Overview

I'm looking for a care giver or live in care giver for my Orange location at a 6 BED BOARD AND CARE FACILITY. The hours would be Mon and Tuesday night and Thursday & Friday night from 5pm to 7 am. THIS POSITION PAYS BETWEEN $800- $1000 PER WEEK.

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
• Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, to help clients move safely around their homes.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Implement care plans tailored to each client's specific needs, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
• Provide first aid as needed and respond effectively in emergency situations.

• Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred.
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately.
• Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy meals.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Experience with medication administration is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
• Background in nursing or social work is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for this role.
