Right at Home provides non-medical home care in clients’ homes. This may include bathing them, helping them dress, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship (taking walks together, playing games, gardening). We also may drive clients to a doctor’s appointment, do errands for them, and do some light housekeeping.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition.
- Provide medication reminders as instructed.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands.
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe environment.
- Experience as a caregiver is a plus.
- Previous caregiving experience through caring for a sick or elderly family member is acceptable.
- Heart for caring for people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Preferably registered with the state of California; if not, we will provide training and register you.
Right at Home is a Home Care Organization (HCO) and is registered with the State of California. We do not require a current Home Care Aide registration to apply. If you are not registered, we will provide the necessary training and will process your registration, a state requirement for anyone who works for a home care company in California.
