Data Scientist / Data Analytics

Location:

Orance, CT (Hybrid - 3 Days onsite/week)

Looking for a Data Scientist / Data Analytics professional, with strong emphasis on storytelling, business insights, stakeholder engagement, reporting and Azure platform skillset

• Business Insight & Storytelling:
  Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights aligned to organizational goals
• Business Insight & Storytelling:
  Develop data narratives, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
• Business Insight & Storytelling:
  Apply storytelling techniques to explain why insights matter, not just what the data shows
• Business Insight & Storytelling:
  Support strategic decision making through scenario analysis, trend forecasting, and root cause analysis
• Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting:
  Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to understand requirements and define analytics use cases
• Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting:
  Facilitate discussions to recommend data driven solutions, KPIs, and measurement frameworks
• Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting:
  Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating business problems into analytical approaches
• Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting:
  Collaborate with cross functional teams (Data Engineering, BI, Cloud, IT) to ensure end to end delivery
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  Perform advanced data analysis using SQL and analytical techniques on large, complex datasets
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  Design and maintain enterprise grade reports and dashboards for operational and executive audiences
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and interpretability across reports
• Azure Analytics & Data Platforms:
  Leverage Azure Synapse Analytics for data exploration, analytics, and reporting workloads
• Azure Analytics & Data Platforms:
  Work with data stored in Azure Data Lake / SQL Pools / Dedicated & Serverless SQL
• Azure Analytics & Data Platforms:
  Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability
• Azure Analytics & Data Platforms:
  Collaborate with data engineers on ingestion, transformation, and analytics ready data models

  10+ years of experience in Data Science / Data Analytics / Business Analytics

  Strong experience deriving business insights from structured and semi structured data

  Proven ability to influence decisions through data storytelling and stakeholder communication

  Advanced SQL (query optimization, complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)

  Strong hands on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics

  Experience with Azure Data Lake, SQL databases, and cloud based analytics architectures

Experience:

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
