Director Of Information Technology
The Director of Information Technology partners with executive leadership to execute the organization's technology strategy, focusing on secure, scalable, and innovative IT solutions. This role oversees cloud platforms, enterprise IT operations, and infrastructure performance while leading teams responsible for network operations, end-user support, and cybersecurity. The position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer.
What You Will Do- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments to ensure scalability, security, and high availability
- Oversee IT operations, including network infrastructure, Help Desk support, and endpoint management
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations
- Drive the delivery of IT-enabled solutions that support business strategy and operational efficiency
- Leverage data and analytics to guide technology decisions and support business intelligence initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align IT solutions with organizational goals and market needs
- Manage IT programs and project portfolios, ensuring alignment with business priorities and effective resource utilization
- Support vendor management activities, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance oversight
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- You can effectively translate business needs into scalable and secure technology solutions
- You maintain high-performing, reliable IT systems that support organizational growth
- You proactively manage cybersecurity risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- You build strong partnerships across business units and influence key stakeholders
- You successfully manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- You foster a collaborative team culture focused on accountability and innovation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
- 7-10+ years of IT leadership experience, including cloud platforms, infrastructure, and solution delivery
- 3+ years of experience in a healthcare or managed care environment (Medicare/Medi-Cal preferred)
- Strong background in IT network management, Help Desk operations, and cybersecurity initiatives
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, security, identity, governance)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
- Knowledge of networking and security tools (firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, monitoring tools)
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and strategic execution
