SENIOR ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL
Job SummaryChapman University seeks a driven and experienced attorney to serve as an integral member of its Office of General Counsel. The Senior Associate General Counsel will support the General Counsel, the President, the executive leadership team, College deans, and other key stakeholders across the institution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and advise on legal matters in risk management, investigations, related litigation, and preventative training.
- Provide counsel on faculty and student affairs, grants and research compliance, gift agreements, athletics, and other business areas.
- Collaborate closely with the legal team, executive leadership, senior staff, deans, and outside counsel.
Driven and experienced attorney with deep knowledge of university legal matters and a strong record of managing complex legal issues.
CompensationBase salary range $265,000 to $290,000. Full‑time in‑office position located at the Chapman University campus in Orange, California.
