Custodian

Job Summary

Responsible for overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies and paper products.
• Properly dispose of trash and maintain trash cans.
• Clean and dust items high off the ground (e.g., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters).
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
• Follow the "Lost and Found Policy" and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager immediately.

• Custodial experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Honesty and an exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

• Continual standing and walking during the shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
• Will encounter and use toxic chemicals during cleaning.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Move oneself in different positions, including bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting, to accomplish tasks.
