Job Summary

We are actively seeking a Senior Plumbing Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale and technically complex commercial plumbing projects. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in mechanical systems and a strong track record of delivering multimillion-dollar projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent team leadership, client management, and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple, large-scale commercial plumbing projects, from preconstruction through close-out.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide high-level planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and profitable project execution.
• Oversee project scheduling, cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, QA/QC standards, and client specifications.
• Drive collaboration between field operations, engineering, estimating, and executive leadership teams.
• Mentor junior project managers and field teams to develop talent and ensure project continuity.
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and risk assessments to proactively manage change orders, delays, and scope modifications.
• Represent the company in high-level client meetings, negotiations, and presentations.
• Provide insight into process improvement and contribute to company growth and strategy initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing complex commercial plumbing projects, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Strong background in mechanical contracting with deep knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and commercial building codes.
• Proven track record of managing $5M+ projects across sectors such as healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or large commercial developments.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Proficiency with project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• California C-36 Plumbing Contractor’s License or equivalent experience is a strong plus.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
