POSITION SUMMARY

As a Project Manager, your job is multifaceted. You will be leading the project team for small to mid-scale projects and responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the organization. This role involves managing cross‑functional teams, driving project timelines, and ensuring alignment with overall project budget.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE ADMIN
  • Lead and manage projects
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, critical path timelines and resource allocation
  • Create SOW’s, estimates, and project bids and work with leadership for review and approval prior to client submittal
  • Understand client contracting, purchase orders, and billing terms and drive the contract and billing process for assigned projects
  • Ensure deposits are invoiced accordingly and payment is received before the job is released to production
  • Manage project changes and deviations from the original scope of work, evaluating impacts and adjusting project strategies
  • Work closely with internal departments (Design, Design Engineering, Shop, and Accounting) to ensure expectations meet SPMD standards and client expectations
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates on progress, milestones, and key deliverables to the project team and management
  • Track overall budgets for assigned projects from design through fabrication and installation, ensuring consistent accountability for profitability while delivering all projects within the agreed scope, time, cost, and quality standards
  • Interface with clients regarding status of projects, budgets, schedule, invoicing
  • Responsible for all internal and external communication on schedule and deliverable expectations
  • Complete closeout processes within 24 hours of completion of project, which include verifying work order/quotes/purchase orders for accuracy and working with Accounting on final invoices and Job Cost Forms
DESIGN/PRODUCTION
  • Issue quote requests and purchase orders to vendors and ensure accuracy of client purchase orders and sale orders
  • Manage and delegate tasks during the production process with direct project team and shop operations, which includes creating and tracking all work orders, providing all necessary information for production, sourcing, materials, purchasing, calendar, reporting, etc.
  • Monitor Design and Production tasks and coordination; keep leadership and management informed of any changes or updates that may delay the project schedule and manage client expectations
  • Work closely with Design Lead to prepare for client presentations, review decks, receive necessary approvals, and stay on schedule throughout the design phase
INSTALLATION
  • Oversee installations directly or through project managers, leading the logistics by coordinating efforts among clients, install teams, project managers, and vendors
  • Responsible for management of approved SPMD Installers including onboarding and briefing
  • Responsible for management of all COI requirements
  • Responsible for management of all project shipping requirements from obtaining quotes to creating shipping requests
LEADERSHIP
  • Manage, mentor and train project coordinators within the project team and PM department
  • Foster a collaborative and high‑performing team culture, promoting accountability, transparency, and communication
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practice adoption in project management methodologies and present suggestions and solutions
