Join SQA Services, a leader in managed supplier quality services for over 30 years. We are looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Inspector for Cables and Harnesses to help us maintain our high standards in Southern California, primarily in the LA and OC areas. This position offers a first shift, full-time schedule, working 4-5 days a week on an as-needed basis.

- Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections at client supplier locations.
- Ensure that products adhere to quality and specification standards.
- Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails according to specifications.
- Confirm that shipping documentation is clear and accurate, including part numbers and serial numbers.
- Review documentation packages for compliance with industry standards and categorize defects.
- Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non-conformances.
- Regularly verify accuracy to meet production demands while maintaining productivity.
- Keep equipment well-maintained and the work area organized.
- Knowledgeable in cable and harness assembly methods.
- Familiar with IPC-A-620 and IPC-A-610 standards.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector or Assembler in electronics or related fields.
- Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings, as well as identify wiring components.
- Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC).
- Strong organizational, communication, and ability to adapt to software.
- Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620 or IPC-A-610.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution; college degree in engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing principles.
- Preferred: 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector.
Compensation is between $32 - $34 per hour with 50% pay for travel time (
