Maintenance Mechanic – Orange, California

Job

We are looking for a skilled maintenance mechanic who can do electrical and mechanical repairs on production line equipment. Experience with PLCs, 480V, VFDS, etc. is required.

Salary: $29-$31 hourly

Shift: 5:00 PM–1:30 AM (second shift differential $0.25)

• Primarily responsible for maintaining their respective production lines.
• Support Maintenance Manager by identifying known problems or requesting parts needed to maintain or repair equipment.
• Complete any special projects or work orders in a safe and timely manner.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Complete daily line checklist and support line lead with any equipment problems.
• Practice good teamwork and cooperation with fellow employees.
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production lines.
• Locate sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand/power tools, and examining form and texture of parts.
• Control downtime by working with and training line operators.
• Fabricate repairs using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
