Production Manager

AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated production manager to join our growing company. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all the processes in producing printed circuit boards (PCB) to ensure that daily shipments are met. You must be able to meet deadlines and produce quality products safely and cost‑effectively while preserving a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service. They must ensure that jobs are moved to and from each department in a timely manner to prevent bottlenecks and meet shipment deadlines with 100% accuracy.

• Manage production staff.
• Utilizing direct and concise communication verbally and electronically.
• Addressing production concerns with urgency and precision.
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident‑free.
• Ensure productivity goals are met for the manufacturing team.
• Communicate production status and highlight priorities with Production Control and Supervisors from all shifts to ensure continuous synchronization of production efforts.
• Conduct daily meetings with department heads and Production Control Supervisors to communicate "hot jobs", review special alert processes, etc.
• Ensure adequate scheduling of staff to back‑fill call‑outs, PTO, etc.
• Ability to coach, motivate, train, and retain employees.
• Interview potential job candidates.
• Performance Management.

This is a full‑time position requiring availability to work during standard business hours and mandatory weekend overtime when needed to meet production goals. Shifts may include weekends, when schedule details are provided in advance. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the printed circuit board industry.
• Associate’s degree in a related field, trade school or equivalent experience in the PCB industry.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new programs.
• Clear, thorough, and up‑to‑date understanding of PCB designs, materials, and new technologies and of processes required to manufacture high‑technology PCBs.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout an 8–10‑hour shift; ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
• Must have common sense to make quick and precise decisions.

California Pay Range: $65,000 to $90,000 USD | DOE

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.

This position requires access to controlled technical data and/or participation in activities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
