Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated Waste Treatment Operator with the responsibility of operating the waste treatment system under routine conditions.
Essential Job Function- Operate all waste treatment equipment.
- Complete quality checks.
- Perform preventative maintenance and make minor repairs.
- Report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Wear personal protective equipment required by the job.
- Monitor effluent by sampling.
- Keep accurate records of daily incoming water consumption.
- Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work area.
- Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
- Perform additional ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Work overtime as assigned.
This is a full-time position requiring availability to work during standard business hours and mandatory weekend overtime when needed to meet production goals. Shifts may include weekends when schedule details are provided in advance.
Work schedule is Sunday PM through Friday AM, 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.
Essential Qualifications,Education and Experience
- High school education or equivalent.
- 1 year experience working with process chemicals.
- Beginner to Intermediate mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to stand 8-12 hours.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
- Ability to climb up and down stairs.
- Use of gross and fine motor skills.
California Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour USD | DOE
