Under general supervision, performs a variety of repetitive machine and manual operations related to AOI verification and circuit rework to ensure the quality and accuracy of circuit patterns on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Operates AOI and verification equipment requiring moderately complex setups, continuous monitoring, and close visual inspection of processed panels. Performs precision manual circuit rework as needed to correct identified defects and ensure products meet established quality standards, work instructions, and customer specifications.
This is a second-shift position with shift differential pay. This position requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive production tasks.
Requirements- Operate AOI and verification equipment to inspect PCB panels for defects and verify circuit patterns.
- Perform moderately complex equipment setups and adjustments in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
- Continuously monitor equipment operation and inspect panels to identify defects, irregularities, or processing issues.
- Perform precision manual circuit rework to correct identified PCB defects.
- Follow travelers, work instructions, drawings, customer specifications, and established quality procedures.
- Perform detailed visual inspections of PCB panels and accurately identify circuit pattern defects.
- Document inspection results, defects, and rework activities accurately.
- Escalate quality or equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor or department.
- Maintain production standards while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality requirements, and applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the printed circuit industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
