As a senior philanthropy leader, you will develop and drive strategies to achieve priority fundraising goals with a focus on major gifts ($100,000+) and principal gifts ($1,000,000+). You will lead a team of talented philanthropy professionals while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize philanthropic support for strategic organizational priorities.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will serve as a key partner to Foundation leadership, board members, physicians, administrators, community leaders, and donors. Through strategic planning, donor engagement, and team development, you will help create meaningful opportunities for philanthropic investment that advance the organization’s mission and long-term objectives.

• Fundraising Strategist: Develop and execute fundraising strategies that advance organizational priorities and drive success in major and principal gift fundraising.
• Major and Principal Gift Champion: Lead efforts to secure transformational philanthropic investments through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and principal gift donors and prospects.
• Team Development Leader: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of philanthropy professionals and support staff while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
• Mission Advancement Partner: Work closely with administrative and medical leadership to identify strategic priorities and provide fundraising expertise that maximizes philanthropic opportunities.
• Board and Leadership Collaborator: Partner with the Foundation Board of Directors, Foundation President/Chief Philanthropy Officer, physician leaders, and administrators to develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Relationship Builder: Cultivate strong relationships with donors, foundations, corporations, organizations, volunteers, and community leaders to strengthen philanthropic engagement and long-term support.
• Campaign Leadership Advocate: Collaborate with Foundation leadership to develop, promote, and execute comprehensive campaign priorities, fundraising goals, and giving opportunities that inspire donor investment.
• Donor Engagement Expert: Create opportunities for meaningful donor involvement while fostering positive, lifelong relationships between donors and the organization.
• Cross-Functional Partnership Champion: Work collaboratively across medical center departments, physician leadership, and program teams to achieve fundraising success and advance strategic initiatives.
• Volunteer and Community Engagement Leader: Assist with Board development and volunteer engagement efforts, including identifying, recruiting, and cultivating influential community leaders and philanthropists.

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
• 8+ years of leadership experience.
• Comprehensive fundraising experience preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of all areas of fundraising with particular emphasis on major gifts, principal gifts, and planned giving strategies.
• Strong understanding of comprehensive fundraising programs and donor engagement strategies.
• Proven success cultivating and securing significant philanthropic investments.

• Demonstrated management, finance, communication, and marketing expertise.
• Strong business and organizational acumen with the ability to align fundraising efforts to strategic priorities.
