Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to circulate.
Responsibilities- Labor & Delivery unit in a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 07:00–19:30
- Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Travel pairs will not be accepted
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
- All RTO must be disclosed and submitted at time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; L&D/OR scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free parking available on-site
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- Refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate; AWHONN Advanced preferred
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
- Ability to circulate in the OR required
- Experience in a large hospital setting highly preferred
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
