Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care in the ICU, including patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning. They will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and must have recent ICU experience. Floating to similar units may be required.

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to ICU patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care and related duties accurately.
- Float to similar units as needed.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, with recent ICU experience within the last year.
- For first-time travelers, a minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- 3 years of high-acuity ICU experience.

Special Considerations:

- May exceed every other weekend requirement to accommodate unit needs.
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
- Block scheduling is per manager discretion.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.

- Every other weekend is required, with the potential to exceed this to meet unit needs.
