Under the direction of the Department Manager of the Renal Center and Renal Transplant Medical Director, the Transplant Coordinator provides professional direct and indirect multi-problem nursing care for a selected population of transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors; serves as coordinator between patients, hospital staff, community physicians, and the transplant center; does related work as required.

Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training:
Graduate of a school of nursing, or current enrollment in an accelerated program leading to a BSN or MSN degree. - Upon hire:
California Registered Nurse License - 1 year Nursing experience
- Upon hire:
Certification CCTC or CCTN through the American Board of Transplant Coordinators - 1 year organ transplant or procurement experience.
- Knowledge and abilities of Staff RN II category; advanced nursing theory and practice in the area of transplantation in particular.
