Responsibilities
- On‑call hospice visits after hours with an opportunity for daytime visits
- Provide accurate and timely documentation
- Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education
- Perform other duties as assigned by the registered nurse
- Other visits as needed based on availability including routine and PRN visits, discharges, deaths, CC, etc.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient‑centered care
- Active LVN license in the state of California
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year of hospice experience; strong understanding of hospice philosophy and end‑of‑life care
- Prior experience in nursing or related medical fields
- Experience as an on‑call LVN runner preferred
Part‑time, Per diem, PRN
ScheduleAfter‑hours coverage on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Non‑business hours availability required.
Service CoverageOrange County and bordering LA County cities
Compensation$31.00 - $34.00 per hour. Includes on‑call and per‑visit rates.
