Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a Magnet-designated acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative experience and be comfortable supporting a variety of surgical specialties in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Requirements:

Active RN License required
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
CNOR preferred
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
First-time travelers may be considered with 5+ years of OR experience

Required Experience:

Orthopedic Surgery
Neurosurgery
Robotic Surgery
Candidates with experience in at least 2 of the 3 specialties may be considered

Schedule:

Primarily Monday-Friday shifts
Rotating weekend coverage as needed
On-call requirement included, with weekday and weekend call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
Support a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopedic, neuro, and robotic procedures
Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality standards
